About

The Music Program at WNMU has grown exponentially since its revival nearly three years ago. Students now have several options to enhance their academic progress through music; these include Pep Band, Mariachi, University Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Theory, History, Music Experience and Private Lessons.

Our students are given the opportunity to share their experiences and contribute ideas about the program. They can have direction of this program and how it can move forward. The WNMU Music Program is dedicated to serving student needs and is continuing to develop with those needs in mind to build a musical community founded on respect, trust, and a clear vision for the program.

Every member of the faculty takes the time to create individualized lessons as they work to find the strengths and weaknesses of every student. This is most prevalent in  Private Lessons but is carried through to every class that is offered.
